EE Students and faculty place 1st in 2014 UH Business Plan Competition

First place honors (and a $10,000 cash prize) went to the "MiWa Technologies" team consisting of Darcy Bibb (EE MS Student), Gui Chao Huang (EE MS Student), Matthew Amore and Ruthsenne Perron (EE PhD student), and  Dr. Magdy Iskander (EE Faculty), at the 2014 UH Business Plan Competition.    Their CP-Stethoscope device is a non-invasive radio-frequency sensor for continuous monitoring of multiple vital signs, including measurement of changes in lung water content for early detection of heart failure and other cardiopulmonary diseases.
