Ryan Gough will be awarded a $6000 IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society Graduate Fellowship at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium in Phoenix, AZ, in May 2015. He was one of 11 PhD students worldwide to receive a $6000 fellowship. 

In April 2015, he won first place in the student poster competition of the IEEE MTT-S Texas Symposium on Microwave Wireless Circuits and Systems in his home town of Waco.
