Abstract

In this presentation, we will talk about the recent experimental platforms we are developing for the purposes of molecular sensing, in vitro diagnosis, environmental monitoring, and biomedical applications, by adopting micro/nanofluidics, nanooptics, nanomaterials, and micro‐/nanoscale fabrication. Few notable examples will be given, comprising graphene‐based portable electrochemical sensors for bacteria and COVID‐19 screening, nano‐electrode enabled nano‐optical (SERS) measurements for Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers amyloid beta (Aβ) peptides, optofluidic SPR imaging system for reaction kinetics and affinity analysis, and how we use novel single‐jet electrospinning for direct 3D scaffold writing for potential tissue engineering applications.
