·         Healani Chang, Assistant Professor PBRC, on topics of Ohana Health Online (OHO) and Chronic Disease Management (since 2004).

·         Joshua I. Santos, UH Honor student, received the “Best Poster” award at National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Undergraduate Research Conference at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) on August 12, 2004.

·         Dr. Joseph W. Humphry, Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Medicine (since 1999), research collaboration and providing support on two projects: Ohana Health and the HMSA Foundation work, involving telemedicine efforts with diabetes patients.

·         Prof. Vassilis L. Syrmos, Electrical Engineering Department, research collaboration and providing support as Co-I (since 1995) on two projects: simulation and modeling of electric and hybrid electric vehicles for the EHV DNC Project and finite element solution of inverse problems for the Bio-Photonics Project.

·         Milton Staackmann, (currently) Hawaii Natural Energy Institute, as administrative assistant and project specialist, contributed to the EHV NDC and the OHO projects from 2000 to 2004.

·         Prof. Hong-Mei Chen, Decision Sciences Department, College of Business, research collaboration and providing support as Co-I (1995-2001) on two projects: database applications for electric vehicle performance data for the EHV NDC Project and distributed data sharing and graphic visualization for Project MISSION.

·         Prof. Mehrdad G. Nejhad, Mechanical Engineering Department, research collaboration and providing support as Co-I (1996—1999) on composite material and crash simulation of electric vehicles for the EHV NDC Project.

·         Dr. Borr Yan Liaw, Hawaii Natural Energy Institute, research collaboration and providing support as manager for the EHV NDC project (1994—1999), with research activities involving battery testing operations

·         Prof. Ming Pi Mi, emeritus, Department of Molecular Genetics, School of Medicine (1997-2001), research collaboration and providing support on the Bio-Photonics project, with emphasis on statistical data analysis.

·         Dr. Hai Wei from Beijing Polytechnic University, People’s Republic of China, post-doc for research on imaging processing in bio-medical systems (Since February 2001).

·         Dr. C. H. Liao from People’s Republic of China, post-doc on laser characterization and measurement analysis for the Bio-Photonics Project (January 2001—March 15, 2001)

·         Prof. Milan Sonka, Electrical Engineering, University of Iowa, visiting faculty for collaborative teaching of EE491f – Image Processing (using his text book) and collaborative research on computer image processing and graphics (1/6—2/11/00).

·         Dr. Junhai Wen from People’s Republic of China, post-doc on helmet device and hemisphere simulation and validation for the Bio-Photonics Project (January 2000—December 2000).

·         Dr. Jun Ge from Tsin Hua University, People’s Republic of China, post-doc for research on simulation and validation in bio-photonics (July 1998 – January 2000).

·         Dr. Guenter Randolf from Austria, post-doc for research on battery simulation and life extension by use of supercapacitors (April 1998 – July 1999).

·         Dr. Yaoyu Wang from People’s Republic of China, post-doc on battery performance monitoring and analysis for the EHV NDC Project (January 1999 – September 1999).

·         Dr. Mangesh Tamhankar from India, post-doc for the development of on-line reporting systems for technical/economic information of electric vehicles and research on data mining from electric vehicle performance data (August 1997 – July 1999)

·         Dr. Susan Spiessberger from Austria, post-doc on photon physics and measurement verification for the Bio-Photonics Project (Dec.1998 – July 1999).
