Energy consumption has becoming a dominant design constrain and large operating cost for both electronic systems and electric systems. In this talk, we will present some architecture level power reduction techniques for low power microprocessors, and how we can extend some techniques to smart building infrastructures. We will also discuss a wireless sensor network architecture for monitoring building level power consumption.
