About the speaker:
Maria Tome, Chief Engineer of the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission, has been active in Hawaii's energy sector since ... well, even before Internet search engines. In spite of being a registered professional engineer, she is often invited to speak to a variety of audiences. Sometimes, she's even invited back.
