Ms. Christy Kaneshiro is the Fall 2006 Outstanding Graduating Senior in Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii. 

Her strong academic performance has earned her a place on the Dean's List every semester she has been in the program.  She has been the recipient of a number of scholarships including the E.E. Black, Boeing, Engineering Alumni Association of UH, and the Hawaii Society of Professional Engineers scholarships.  She has prepared for engineering practice by being an intern at Lockheed Martin Corporation. 

Ms. Kaneshiro served in leadership roles in engineering student organizations:  IEEE (Chairperson of the student chapter), Eta Kappa Nu Delta Omega Chapter (Treasurer), and Society of Women Engineers (Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day Program, Chairperson).
