Hawaii Innovation Lab wins double award at Shidler Breakthrough Challenge
PhD candidate Kareem Elassy and PostDoctoral researcher Arifur Rahman formed the team of Hawaii Innovation Lab that won both Second Place and Audience Choice for their idea of a vest that keeps the body cool with liquid metal. The team was awarded $1000 for each win.
