PhD student Khaldoon Ishmael selected for Frederick M. Kresser ARCS Award in Engineering
Khaldoon Ishmael will be presented with the Fredrick M. Kresser ARCS Award in Engineering on May 19 at the ARCS Honolulu General Meeting.
Mr. Khaldoon received the BS in Electrical Engineering in 2017 and the MS in Electrical Engineering in 2019 both here at UHM. He is currently pursuing his PhD working with advisor Dr. Olga Boric-Lubecke. Mr. Khaldoon’s research involves the development of non-invasive physiological monitoring using ground based and UAV mounted Doppler radar.
