Assistant Professor David Garmire receives the prestigious Ross N. Tucker Award, Friday, April 11, 2008, at The 36th Annual ELECTRONIC MATERIALS SYMPOSIUM in Santa Clara, California, for his work completed at University of California, Berkeley, advancing technology of materials used in semiconductor electronics.
The Ross N. Tucker Award memorializes Dr. Ross N. Tucker, who contributed significantly to the advancement of the technology of materials used in semiconductor electronics. Past winners include people who went on to become professors at Harvard, Berkeley, Stanford, and CMU and industry scientists at Agilent, Intel, PARC, IBM, and Motorola.
