Shaun Anthony Corpuz will receive the Outstanding MS Student Award from the College of Engineering at Convocation on May 10, 2024. Shaun’s MS research focused on Deep Learning for Embryo Viability Assessment. In December 2023, he won the Best Conference Paper Award at the IEEE-NANOMED 2023 Conference in Okinawa, Japan. This was his first conference presentation, competing against ~200 other authors, most of whom were pursuing or already received their PhDs.
