Assistant Professor Aaron T. Ohta Joins the Department Beginning Spring 09
Aaron T. Ohta received his BS degree from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, his MS degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2003, 2004, and 2008, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. He was a recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, and a finalist in the National Collegiate Invention Competition for his graduate research activities.
His research interests include the design, fabrication, and application of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), biomedical microdevices, microfluidics, and optofluidics.
