Professor Magdy Iskander (Professor of EE and Director of the Hawaii Center for Advanced Communications), will receive the UH Board of Regents Medal of Excellence in Research at the UH Manoa Awards Ceremony on April 30. He also won the UH Board of Regents Medal of Excellence in Teaching in 2010, making him one of the few (if any) faculty who have won both awards.
