PhD students Richard Ordoñez and Ryan Gough awarded ARCS Scholarships
Congratulations to two of our EE graduate students who were announced in May 2014 as ARCS Scholarship Award winners:
Bretzlaff Foundation Awards in Engineering ($5000):
Richard C. Ordoñez, Performance of graphene integrated CMOS devices under RF radiation.
Shelagh Kresser Award in Engineering ($5000):
Ryan C. Gough, Use of liquid metal to create dynamic, reconfigurable high-frequency devices. Ryan was honored with an additional check for $1000 and named the ARCS Scholar of the Year based on his presentation before the ARCS committee in April. This is the first time an engineering student has won this award.
