Third place honors (and a $2,500 cash prize) went to the "Med-e-Bed" team consisting of Nicholas Fisher (EE MS Student), Jonathan Pascual (EE MS Student), Ryan Lee, Dr. Pradash Kabbur (Kapiolani Medical Center) and Sheena Luz (Shidler MBA Student) at the 2014 UH Business Plan Competition.  The team developed a design for an adjustable bed technology for Neonatal ICU-use that provides a safe, and easy to use method to reposition the neonate while reducing stress for both medical personnel and patient.
