Xiaochan Xue is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2025, and her B.S. in Communication Engineering from Jilin University, China, in 2017.

Her research interests span future wireless, mobile, and intelligent IoT systems. She focuses on both theoretical and experimental aspects of next-generation wireless networks, including millimeter-wave communications, physical-layer security, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), and efficient signal design. Her work also explores the integration of AI and machine learning for adaptive wireless signal processing, spectrum intelligence, and robust sensing.
